Indiana Online Only is open to residents of Indiana who meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old to enroll in our program.

• Indiana Residency: Students must be legal residents of Indiana to participate in our state-funded program.

• Educational Background: Students must have exited from high school. If under 18 years old, they must provide a signed high school exit form from their previous school.

• Commitment to Learning: We welcome individuals who are motivated and committed to furthering their education by preparing for and obtaining their High School Equivalency (HSE) qualification.

• Access to Technology: Students must have access to a computer (no mobile devices or tablets) with internet connectivity to participate in coursework and assessments.

What Does Orientation Look Like?

Orientation for IOO is completely online and flexible — you don’t need to be in a classroom at a specific time. Here’s what to expect:

1. Before Orientation Starts
   The Friday before your orientation begins, you’ll receive an email with detailed directions.
   
   

2. Step One – Google Classroom (Tuesday)
   On Tuesday, log in to your Google Classroom when it works best for you. You will have 24 hours to complete your assignments.
   
   

3. Step Two – Pre-Placement Testing (TABE)
   After completing your first assignments, you’ll schedule your live, proctored placement test (TABE).
   You choose the date and time from the available testing window.
   
   

4. Step Three – Enrollment Classroom
   Once you finish testing, you’ll receive another Google Classroom invite. On Wednesday morning, you’ll get an email with instructions. You’ll have 24 hours to complete these final assignments and finish enrollment.
   
   

Important: Orientation does not happen at a single set time—you work at your own pace within the deadlines.

Program Year 25/26 Session Dates 

The cut off for session enrollmnet is the Wednesday prior to the start date of the session.
